What is Taiko?
Taiko drumming is a dynamic musical art form grounded in core aspects of the martial arts, dance and percussion. Most often played as a group, a Japanese Taiko performance is characterized by intensity, precision, strength, and a sense of celebration. As a discipline, Taiko emphasizes and enhances physical agility, stamina and creative expression.
